WELCOME to foodINfront in May 2011!
The Danish Center for Advanced Food Studies is pleased to invite you to foodINfront - a 2011 LMC Congress that will bring a wide range of internationally recognized experts to Odense on 23-24 May, 2011.
The congress will lead you into EU's 8th Framework Programme mirroring the 'Grand Challenges' of the world.
The nature of the 'Grand Challenges' is interdisciplinary and foodINfront embraces this from all angles of food science. Sustainable solutions are needed in areas such as 1) Food security to ensure enough food for the world's growing population, 2) Sustainable food production to address the tightening supplies of energy, water and food and 3) Food & health to improve and secure quality of life of an ageing society. These examples which also represent some of the focal points of the LMC research strategy will be addressed in foodINfront in May 2011.
